On the Road Again

Fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed today as we get on the road again and continue on our merry holiday. Let’s hope it really was the fuel filter and we are good to go…

I did take the car out for a spin yesterday, and all seemed ok, but we won’t know for sure until we drive a couple of Hundred clicks down the road.

Not sure how far we will get today. Will point towards Port Augusta, but if we make good time (and I can get the family out of bed…) then we may keep going and try to make up some lost time. Aim is to get to Mildura and stop for a couple of days.

Yesterday was a good catch up day. We cleaned the van (which was over due), put a couple of loads of washing through (which was way way over due) then headed to the shop to restock a few essentials like vegetables that couldn’t be brought across the border. We also grabed a rack of lamb which we did in the Cobb last night, and I think I am safe to say that we finally have cooking in that thing down pat…. was sensational!!

Was good to have a relaxing day, but now I am itching to get back on the road. We want to be home no later than a week from today, and we have pretty much lost 3 days due to car trouble, so we need to get a move on and cram as much as we can in between now and then.
